About Stephen Moore

My passion is to see everyone be safe on the Internet and enjoying its many benefits.
When I was in year 6, my handwriting was so bad, I was given an electric typewriter to use. In that same year I also read an article by a futurist on what life would be like in the year 2000.. Since then I was hooked on Science Fiction and technology TV shows. I got onto the Internet before Microsoft had Internet Explorer, learnt about Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTS) and thought it would be cool to be a member of one. My passion for technology saw me study for a Diploma of Information Technology (User Support) at CIT then later a Master of Science (Information Technology) at UNSW.These studies opened opportunities to work on help desks initially and later writing Information Technology security policies for Federal government agencies. Eventually I dabbled in computer forensics and was a manager of an organisation's Computer Emergency Response Team (but by a different name). I am now a father of three great kids, have a fantastic wife and work from my home here in Canberra, so I can be there when they need me. I remain passionate for everything technology and want to share this passion with my clients by solving their Information Technology needs and by keeping them safe on the Net. I am always happy to pass on my experience to those I meet and hope to meet you soon.
